PVS Spring Meeting Update
In light of the rapidly changing situation with regards COVID-19, the PVS Officer team is reviewing the upcoming Spring Meeting on a daily basis. As it stands, in line with current UK Government guidance, the plan is that our meeting will go ahead as planned.
Full details, including booking arrangements and the full programme, are available on the PVS website in the meetings section. Please be aware that the programme is subject to change, particularly with regards our overseas speakers, and the most up to date version will continue to be posted on the website as this varies.
We are fully aware that some companies are not allowing their employees to attend certain meetings or travel, which would make attending the meeting in Edinburgh impossible. We are currently investigating facilities for members to attend this coming Meeting via either video link or at least with a live view of the presentations and audio. We hope to be able to have the logistics of this confirmed over the coming week and the option to attend electronically will go live on our website when it is available. We do hope that anyone who is unable to attend in person will take us up on this option as an alternative as this will be a big support to PVS.
If you are intending to make the trip to Edinburgh, and we really do hope you will join us there in person, can we encourage you to sign up via the website as usual so that we have confirmed numbers to inform the venue please - Early Bird closes this coming Wednesday 18th March? If the Meeting has to be cancelled at a later date due to a change in circumstances then please be assured that PVS will process full refunds for the meeting registrations back to the payment card used to complete the payment originally.
